Canada’s first-ever Bachelor is professional football player Brad Smith.

The 28-year-old mystery man was unveiled Tuesday morning.

Here's what we know about Smith: he has small town roots, “What’s your name?” is his best pick-up line, and he is drawn to intelligent women who are comfortable in their own skin. What else would you expect from Mr Generic Brad Smith?

His favourite NHL team, Montreal Canadiens and right now he's a free agent in the CFL and has played for Montreal, Toronto and Edmonton.
