“Adults on the Move” offers fun and educational Arts and Culture experiences from 3pm to 5pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. What's exciting is this is truly a ‘drop-in’ program! Use it once; once a week; or ongoing (every T/W/Th) for months. A great option for tourists visiting, as well as local adults wanting new experiences or stopping by while in the cultural district.

Programs are led by local artists, with rotating guest instructor days: i.e. Zumba teacher, mosaic stained glass, RCA resident artist demo… you name it – we will probably have it! Activities rotate, this way everyone experiences all that is offered for that day.  Experience Inspirational Walks to galleries and nearby ecological areas such as the Rotary Marshes.

Celebrate Education Week March 4th – March 8th

Step into the Rotary Centre for the Arts to celebrate both arts and education throughout the whole month of March. School District #23 has many young artists exhibiting their talents in our Galleria, Mezzanine, and Atrium. The submitted artwork comes to us from South Rutland Elementary School, Mount Boucherie Secondary School and Okanagan Mission Secondary School – and will be on exhibit until March 27th.

To further showcase these talented young artists, the Atrium will come alive with noon hour performances Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and a couple of adult recorder performances Tuesday and Thursday:

Tues. March 5

-12:30pm features Rutland Middle School Drama performing “Grease” under the direction of Deanne Collinson
