Car Cookies!

Hot enough for ya???
Alright, that's the ONE and ONLY time I'll use that line. But seriously. It's HOT!
So hot that our new intern Alicia decided to have a little fun with the heat right outside our studios. Here's the scoop from Alicia herself...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it so shatteringly hot in your car that you cant breathe upon entering? Do you sit down and scorch your things on your flaming hot leather seats? Learn how to turn the heat around and bake dashboard cookies in the sweltering heat with a hilarious and true commentary about making the most out of what you got. This is a special video in the adventure series of Alicia Does Kelowna on SunFM. Thanks for subbin'/ratin'/commentin'/thumbsupin' on the video. Do you dare to try?
Important tips to remember when baking in your car:
1. Put the cookies in when the sun is at its highest. In Kelowna that's around 12/12:30.
2. Cookies need to be baked at 180 degrees C (around 350 F) for at least 8-12 minutes - in your car that means a slow-cook for about 4 hours.
3. Close up all your windows tight and do not open the doors until you think they are done. Put them in during lunch and they'll be ready for after work.
4. Cookies will be done when outside is crispy and hard and they easily remove from your pan/parchment paper - they do not brown like inside the oven.
5. This was 31 degree weather, with a start time of 12pm. Cookies were baked with a soft center by 4:30pm.
Note: I used a silicone baking sheet and this worked like metal to magnets for the heat to collect - I recommend this item.
