This ten-track budget-line compilation features seven of the 12 singles Brick placed on the R&B chart, including the Top Tens “Dazz,” “Dusic,” “Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody,” and “Sweat (Till You Get Wet).” The previous Brick comps had greater faults. The Best of Brick (1995) didn’t contain “Sweat (Till You Get Wet),” while Super Hits (2000) lacked “Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody,” so this is the best representation of the Atlanta-based funk band yet. Moderately successful bands such as Brick and cheap compilations -- such as this one -- make for a good match.
