A rain fall warning is now in effect for the Okanagan valley.

This rain is not good news for those people living near rivers and lakes. 22 homes east of Enderby remain on evacuation alert as Ashton Creek  has become a raging torrent -- damaging roads and  properties.  The alert affects the Creekside MHP, where Two families voluntarily evacuated.

After a washout Wednesday, Mable Lake Road re-opened Thursday to single lane alternating traffic.

In the Shuswap, 19 homes are on evacuation alert due to rising waters in Simms Creek between Sicamous and Malakwa.
