We still aren't out of the woods yet when comes to flooding in the Kelowna area.
West Kelowna Estates saw localized flooding after a small stream got clogged with trees and shrubs and spilled it's banks.
Assistant Fire Chief Jason Brolund says close to 30 millimetres of rain fell in just four hours.
"With that rainfall we saw some overland flooding take place in a a couple of locations in the region which is to be expected. Not necessarily creeks rising but plugged culverts and water flowing down roadways and that type of thing."
The heavy rain overnight has forced the District of West Kelowna to close its sports fields for the entire weekend.
