Summer is just around the corner and it’s time to get your skin summer ready.

I’m sure you’ve done it before, the sun is shining and you take a look at the dreaded rear view mirror. Sometimes I curse that mirror for being so darn clear. You can see EVERYTHING! Dry skin, any hair or blemishes. Ever happened to you?

I Did It! It's Official!

I did it, it's official. I went for my first laser appointment at Lakeshore Vein and Aesthetics!

This is probably the BEST laser i've ever done. I've been to a few different places in town before to get permanent hair removal but this is probably the quickest and least painful laser i've ever had done.

I'm pretty sensitive to pain. It's no secret i'm a huge baby when it comes to anything, but for this I was actually just fine.

They had me lay down on their bed, and they did something I had never really experienced before with laser. They put a cooling jelly on the area we were about to laser because they told me it's protects the skin and certain lasers need the jelly to perform well.

I was a little nervous but super happy when they started because the pain was minimal and the laser itself sent out this cooling sensation that relieved my skin as soon as the process was done.

Seriously though, I was really impressed by how quick it was done and I didn't even have a reaction afterwards. I'll be going in to continue my treatments for laser every 4-5 weeks and i'm super excited to never use a razor ever again.

You gotta give it a try. Honestly, it's amazing. Super impressed with the results and i've only gone for one session. Can't wait for the rest.

I’M SO EXCITED!

So with the New Year, lots of people are focused on getting in shape for summer, but I’ve got something else I’m thinking about for summertime. Do you ever have those moments when you want to quickly throw on your favourite summer dress and then you realize, OOPS! I DIDN’T SHAVE MY LEGS! Well the cool part is you can make sure you NEVER have to shave your legs again.
