Ingredients:
White or Wheat BreadBaconShredded Cheddar CheeseEggsButterMaple SyrupSalt & Pepper(Note quantities not added. This will vary depending on how many you plan to make. It’s safe to estimate about 2-3 per person. )Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. While the oven is pre-heating partially cook the bacon for about 3-5 minutes in a large skillet set to medium-high. You want the bacon to be a little cooked but still pliable. Mix maple syrup and butter in a small sauce pan and heat over medium low so butter melts (you can’t mess this up so don’t worry about amounts too much. I usually use ½ a stick of butter and a cup or so of syrup).Using a cookie cutter, ravioli cutter, or whatever else you may have ...

Dove Real Beauty sketches... for MEN

Before I tee these videos up, TELL YOUR SPECIAL person in your life how attractive they are to you. Do it unexpectedly. I promise you will make their day, and boost their confidence. Man or woman, we ALL need compliments. And it's so easy to speak words... we just don't do it enough! So......
You've most likely seen the new Dove Real Beauty Sketches for women, which showcase how these women see themselves physically, in contrast with how someone ELSE sees them... if not, PLEASE SCROLL DOWN and watch that video first. I warn you, it may jerk some of your tears... it's very intense and amazing... check out the original FIRST!
At first when i saw the link for this, i thought, i wonder if men will see themselves as MORE attractive... until i realized this was a PARODY!! Still, it's very hilarious, but it totally coincides with the ...

What men should NOT say to women...

What are the WORST things a man can say to a woman? A British survey found the most offensive phrase was being mistakenly asked "When is it due?" OUCH!!! If you're a man reading this, TAKE NOTE. If you're a woman, please send us more advice as to what we SHOULDN"T be saying to you. Here are some examples from Sun FM listeners:
Kristine Jones: "Don't be so needy"... When you're just wanting to hang out! Haha

Tony Baines: Calling them stupid is probably the worst, even in the heat of the moment when not meant it can turn a simple arguement into a full on war

Trudy Hockridge Dionne: Relax ......all I want to do is punch you in the throat, not relax.

Janice Smart: I hate being told to "settle down"......it only makes me madder.'

It was comedic GOLD, and the best part is that it was ALL REAL! That one video, which I will post below under the new video, spurred a viral mashup of people mocking the video, in a fun way, and even had Darth Vader playing the role as David! I watched that OVER and OVER and laughed louder each time...
Here comes the NEWEST video like that, to my knowledge! This is an older boy, prolly around 14 - 15, who is still in the Dentist chair, feeling the effects of HIS anesthesia, and it's SO funny... At first I thought this was going to be a fake video, but as you watch you can tell he's ...

When in a tight space, do as the tight-space people do!

I have seen several styles of this furniture, and have checked out several videos over the year, and I'm ALWAYS fascinated with what you're about to check out!
This kind of furniture is all over Europe, as they have a lot less space to work with compared to us North Americans. And they don't WANT the extra space, from what I've gathered... I dated a girl on and off over the course of 2 years who lived in Holland, and had a small apartment that she shared with her dad in Amsterdam. The stairwells are really tiny, so instead of trying to lift your couches and beds and whatever else is bigger than 2 feet wide, they have a massive hook at the top of the building, and you basically attach strong rope to the hook as a lever, and tie your furniture to it from the bottom. Also, loved seeing Jennifer Lawrence take a tumble on her way up the collect an Oscar, because she took it like a champ! And lastly it was witnessing Sun FM host Sammi Morelli sing all the words to the musicals, thoroughly enthralled with the show.... it was GOLD, Jerry!!!
Just in case you missed it, here are the highlights, winners and other details on last night's Oscars!
The 85th Annual Academy Awards celebrated movie musicals from the past decade as well as the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise. With musical performances by host Seth Macfarlane, Dame Shirley Bassey, Jennifer Hudson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Barbara Streisand, and the nominees for best original song, at times it felt more ...

Al Capone and Cupid.. How do they relate to Valentine's Day?

Four men dressed as police officers enter gangster Bugs Moran's headquarters on North Clark Street in Chicago, line seven of Moran's henchmen against a wall, and shoot them to death. The St. Valentine's Day Massacre, as it is now called, was the culmination of a gang war between arch rivals Al Capone and Bugs Moran.
George "Bugs" Moran was a career criminal who ran the North Side gang in Chicago during the bootlegging era of the 1920s. He fought bitterly with "Scarface" Al Capone for control of smuggling and trafficking operations in the Windy City. Throughout the 1920s, both survived several attempted murders. On one notorious occasion, Moran and his associates drove six cars past a hotel in Cicero, Illionis, where Capone and his associates were having lunch and showered the building with more than 1,000 bullets.
A $50,000 bounty on Capone's head was the final straw for the gangster. He ...

Dancing babies are where it's at!

What song or artist makes your baby move?? What makes em dance, smile & laugh?
I feel like i was 'born into' music. I know that I've ALWAYS loved it. From my first memories, I can picture myself shuffling through my parents' records and learning how to make the record player work... I've got pics of myself as a blonde (white) haired toddler, in diapers, no more than a year old, with massive headphones on my head, a big smile and a bit of 'tude as I rocked out to whatever was playing at that moment...
Bryan Adams was one of my faves... we had the FIRST RECORD, where on the cover its purple and he's lying down with a bunch of guitar cords wrapped around and that cover album always stuck with me. I even own all his albums in CD, including his first one, purple and all. As i grew ...

Hanging with Seniors is GOOD TIMES!

Ever wonder what you're gonna do when you hopefully reach 80 years old…?
As much as MY Grandma (from 'Words of Wisdom') is a wonderful and uplifting part of my life, as is my OTHER Grandma, the senior I wanna touch on isn't actually related to me... YET!
Last summer I witnessed something very cool. An 80 year old Grandma playing Frisbee on a rocky beach in the Shuswap with her grandchildren! Sounds risky, doesn’t it? Not for my girlfriend’s grandma! That’s how she celebrated turning 80. And DIDN”T FALL OVER ONCE! Lol It was unreal watching this woman, who looks VERY young for her age as it is, ‘gallivanting’ on the beach throwing a catching a Frisbee from her 6 year old twin grandchildren. WHATTA SITE!
She also steered the houseboat at one point, and floated on a flotation device out in the water for about an hour, just cruising around enjoying ...
